Eligibility and visa

Eligibility

Foreign-trained physicians (foreign or Brazilian) who have not revalidated their medical degree in Brazil, are not in the process of revalidation and do not intend to live or work in Brazil. Prerequisite: completed specialisation in Cardiology from a higher-education institution registered with the home country's Ministry of Education.

International applicants

Programme exists specifically for foreign-trained physicians; the title is not valid for professional practice in Brazil. Candidates must show sufficient financial means for their stay; arriving 45 days before the start is recommended.
