Interdisciplinary Schwerpunkt regulating training for doctors working in hospital emergency departments, published by SIWF and administered by SGNOR. Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Federal or federally recognised specialist title in General Internal Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Surgery, Cardiac and Thoracic Vascular Surgery, Intensive Care Medicine, Cardiology or Orthopaedic Surgery (ICU and Cardiology holders also need 30 months of AIM, anaesthesia or surgery); exam admission also requires at least 12 months (100%) at a recognised SGNOR site, at least 3 completed training years towards the AIM, Anaesthesiology, Surgery, Intensive Care, Cardiology or Orthopaedics title, and the required courses.
International applicants
Training abroad (clinical work and courses) is credited if equivalence is shown; part or all of the training may be done abroad, assessed by the interdisciplinary education commission.
