Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Completed an ACGME-accredited otolaryngology, general surgery or plastic surgery residency (International Track per AHNS rules)
International applicants
Accepted via the AHNS 'International Track': applicants who trained outside the US/Canada must have completed (or be completing) a non-ACGME/non-RCPSC residency in otolaryngology, general surgery or plastic surgery and hold ECFMG certification
Visa support
Institution policyJ-1 via ECFMG is the recommended option; H-1B only for F-1 graduates of US LCME/AOA schools or current H-1B holders transferring, with GME Office approval
Licence requirement
Institution policyState Medical Board of Ohio training certificate or full Ohio licence required before training starts
