- Prerequisite specialty: Ortopeda y/o Neurocirujano (orthopaedic surgeon and/or neurosurgeon); Specialist title (or completion letter) in the prerequisite specialty; Exequátur and Colegio Médico Dominicano (CMD) membership certificate (<3 months old, dues paid); Pass the subspecialty exam set by the subspecialty's contest commission with at least 80/100 to qualify for the interview; Foreign graduates must validate their degree in the Dominican Republic and reside in the country, meeting the same requirements as Dominicans (general requirements); Candidates may compete for only one programme; residents have exclusive dedication (no private practice or teaching)
