Eligibility and visa

Eligibility

Completion of an RCPSC, ACGME or equivalent accredited residency in paediatrics plus tertiary-care inpatient experience within the last 3 years

International applicants

Open to international trainees; citizens sponsored by Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or UAE apply via University of Toronto Fellowship Training (STAR)

Visa support

Institution policyinternational clinical fellows need an IRCC work permit; the PGME Office issues an LMIA-exempt offer of employment number and supports the work permit application

Licence requirement

Institution policyclinical fellows must hold a CPSO certificate of registration authorising postgraduate education (educational licence); research fellows do not need CPSO registration
