Eligibility and visa

Eligibility
Satisfactory completion of residency training plus Royal College or Board certification; must be eligible for a training card from the Collège des Médecins du Québec. Graduates of FAIMER-listed schools recognised as specialists may apply.
International applicants
International medical graduates (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, US citizens and foreign citizens) can apply for up to three years of training in Québec; must hold proof of funding (see Funding). Physicians in Québec must provide care in French and English; French language courses are expected.
