Eligibility and visa
- Eligibility
- Completed subspecialty training in internal medicine and/or medical oncology or hematology; eligible for CPSO licensure
- International applicants
- Non-Canadian applicants who meet CPSO clinical-fellow licensure requirements contact the Fellowship Program Director; citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE must apply through their sponsoring agency to the PGME Office (UofT PGME page)
- Visa support
- PGME Office provides successful sponsored applicants with documentation to apply for a work permit (UofT PGME page); otherwise not stated on official page
- Licence requirement
- Must be eligible for a CPSO certificate authorizing postgraduate education (educational licence); applicant must be recognized as a specialist in the jurisdiction where they practised (UofT PGME page)
