FRCSC-equivalent qualifications; successful UK or American Board examinations considered equal (board-eligible acceptable)
International applicants

Institution policyinternational clinical fellows need an IRCC work permit; the PGME Office issues an LMIA-exempt offer of employment number and supports the work permit application

Certificate of registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO); internationally trained physicians must complete the 4–12-week Pre-Entry Assessment Program (PEAP) before full acceptance (department application guidelines)
