Eligibility and visa
- Eligibility
- With General Surgery or equivalent qualifications preferred ; MBBS or equivalent ; Relevant experience in general/vascular surgery ; Support from HOD
- International applicants
- Yes - SGH fellowship and attachment programmes are offered to foreign doctors for short-term clinical training (more than 1000 international doctors since 2000)
- Visa support
- Training Employment Pass application with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) upon successful SMC Temporary Registration
- Licence requirement
- Temporary Registration (for training) with the Singapore Medical Council

- Rolling - applications reviewed monthly; cut-off is the last day of each month (Singapore time)

- Apply through SGH Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) with CV/posting history, case summary and two endorsed recommendation letters (one from Head of Institution/Department); online interview for clinical fellowship; queries pgmi.fellowships@sgh.com.sg
