- Competitive selection; strict eligibility criteria published annually by RACS. From the 2027 round (2028 intake) minimum eligibility includes, within the last 5 years, at least 12 months PGY3+ surgical terms (incl. a minimum 6-month PRS rotation), plus publication/presentation and referee requirements.
