Eligibility and visa
- Eligibility
- Indonesian specialist (Sp1) in general surgery; legalised Sp1 diploma and transcript; valid specialist STR from KKI; BPJS card; current employment letter and superior's permission; accreditation certificates of the Sp1 programme (LAM-PTKes) and university (BAN-PT) - foreign graduates submit accreditation of the home or adaptation university; written references from colleagues in the chosen subspecialty; health-office/local-government recommendation if sponsored. Maximum age 45; Sp1 GPA >= 3.00; 6-year Sp1 programme from an A-accredited institution; willing to return to the proposing region; At least 3 years as a general surgeon (except military/police/prospective teaching staff); recommendation from the Indonesian Digestive Surgery Collegium. Selection: written test, psychotest, interview, psychomotor test, Indonesian and English (TOEFL or TOEFL-like).
