Privacy and cookies

How browser storage, analytics choices, email enquiries and external services work on the directory.

What the directory stores

Browsing, searching and comparing programmes do not require an account. Saved programmes are stored as programme identifiers in your browser’s local storage; your display theme is also stored there. These preferences remain on that browser until changed or cleared, and are not an application submission.

The search and comparison tools load directory data from this site. Shared search URLs include selected filters or search terms, so avoid entering personal information. Your browser and the hosting service exchange the technical information needed to deliver pages; the host may maintain access and security logs.

Analytics choices

Optional Google Analytics measures use of the directory after you choose to allow analytics. Before that choice, the analytics script is not loaded. You can decline analytics and continue browsing, searching and saving programmes.

When allowed, Google may receive page and interaction information, browser/device details and cookie identifiers. These help us understand how the directory is used. Do not put personal or patient information into site searches or URLs.

Cookies and browser storage

Optional analytics cookies, such as Google’s _ga cookies, are used only after analytics is allowed. The site also remembers your analytics choice in browser storage. You can change that choice with the button above or clear site data in your browser.

Clearing local storage removes the saved shortlist and theme preference for that browser. Blocking browser storage may make saved programmes temporary.

Email enquiries

If you email info@thefellowshipportal.com, your email address and message are used to handle your enquiry, correction or proposal. Email is handled through the mail services involved, rather than through a submission form on this site. Ask at the same address about correction or deletion of information you have sent.

Do not send passports, patient information, application documents or other sensitive personal information. Submit applications through the programme’s official route.

External services and links

Pages request web fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the network request needed to deliver them. Official programme websites, external resources and your email provider operate under their own privacy policies.

For Google’s practices, see Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Advertising and policy updates

This release does not load an advertising network script or process payments. A future advertising or payment integration requires an updated disclosure describing the actual provider and controls.
