Canadian medical graduates with an independent CPSO licence and specialist qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology encouraged to apply
International applicants
IMGs with funding support may be considered if a local applicant is not identified; must demonstrate outstanding surgical skills (case logs, references)
Visa support
Institution policyinternational clinical fellows need an IRCC work permit; the PGME Office issues an LMIA-exempt offer of employment number and supports the work permit application
Licence requirement
Certificate of registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO); internationally trained physicians must complete the 4–12-week Pre-Entry Assessment Program (PEAP) before full acceptance (department application guidelines)

Institution policyclinical fellows must be funded (department or sponsoring agency); FEAC recommends pay at least equal to PGY1 on the PARO salary scale, and foreign nationals must be paid at a rate commensurate with a Canadian in the same role
